Skinning and Skinning Stool

When I started all reds were skinned on a stool. Warm, average skinning and sectioning off, Haunch to the rifle, Haunch and saddle to Inveraray castle and the rest up for grabs, time taken 15 minutes start to finish, Knife used 3" hooked blade, not locking, used for everything from the gralloch to skin off, only the larder knives used to cut carcase. No saw ever used. Wish I could get another knife like it. Bought for me by my dad in Crocketts about 1963. Primary use gutting rabbits. Still got the stab wound scar on my leg where I stabbed myself making snare pegs. 1965. Nice in hand and rarely scored the meat. Jim
