Hmmm. The old advice was to tie a hair/piece of thread round it, presumably to cut off the blood supply whereupon it would wither, die and drop off. I know of no-one who has had any success with this but I do know a couple who had real problems as a result. The GP (remember them?) and a hot wire is the way to go. In the unlikely event of you ever getting an appointment of course......

I’ve tied off a few tags and it works.
Just wrap a bit of elastic thread around it and it drops off a few days later.
There was a guy in Donegal who popped a lamb ring onto a Jack Russell’s nuts a while back, that worked too, but there were repercussions.

Yip done a skin tag with thread and it dropped off about a week later, no issues, got a few more to do but can’t reach them myself so need to ask the other half.

Its just over £100 or less for a skin tag on a human , feck them vets live on the hog
