Sling stud removal, help

First off im not retarded
but the one in my T3x SV is just spinning round, other 3 tikka rifles and its a few turns and it out,
any suggestions, really dont want to remove the barrel to see whats going on,

I’ve got a tikka t3x super varmit in .223.
Been trying to remove sling stud to fit Spartan bipod adapter but failed miserably, it just keeps turning. Tried to remove the forearm by removing the screws but that stays in place and when I try and prise it off makes a horrible cracking noise.
Any one had any luck in remove either the stud or complete fore end?

Had this on a T3. Take the stock off and remove from inside,

bloody nylock nut, sorted new
id just rezeroed it 3 days ago after changing scope rings,
