Small name, online banks

I have been a chase (JP Morgan) customer for a while, great app and no fees when paying overseas (choose Euros
)
They have a decent savings account for new customers also, but alas mine is no more
Im ptobably going to go with chase purely for 4.55% saving accounts.
 
Same for Barclays ;)
Barclays stopped my buissness acount because my id was out of date, waiteed 1.5 hours in cambridge branch to be told bloke wasnt quallified to look at id.
Another hour in ely 1 week later to meet a grumpy old women, id already opened 2 starling acounts over the weekend. Old women said will starling still be here in 300 years like barclays, i dont care ill be dead in 50!
Barclays in ely is now a bakery.

My problem is that my brother worked for Barclays all of his working life - was one of the good agricultural account managers (they did exist). We've been alright with them and their Premier service has been useful over the last 2 decades. When I retire though, I suspect we'll be changing too!

Im sure they were good. I think they havent kept up and are living on in the past
