Wanted: Snider bullet mould

there was a one on the happy bay,

I have shot alot with Sniders, I think about 5 all up and still have one.

You won't get much consistency accuracy wise after about 75m with any load,bullet or ball.

The way the breech is set up and how the bands are on the barrel are completely adverse to accuracy. Sure sometimes I could get maybe 3 to 4" at 100m but next time with the same load it was 8" at best.

I gave up and persued other BP Rifles.

Another bonus of the .600" ball is you won't need dies if shooting all your brass in the same gun,inserted into the breech at the same position.

Do you use lube or a grease cookie with the round ball?
