Somerset humane despatch pistol

There were crates and crates of US dollars shipped out to Iraq, I think it was used as 'Smoothies' perhaps I should have said money escort or ammo escort in foreign lands ;-)
Fair comment, though in this context perhaps 'pay' is not the correct term......Bribe?
spade a spade and all that!

i am sorry to say but most forces seem to be very reluctant issue pistols/revolvers for dispatch now.

With out knowing all the ins and outs of his request does he have a genuine need for one or is it he just wants one. The latter one isn't good reason so I doubt it would be granted.

Ex Sniper from the Rifles might be his stumbling block.
I've met a few ex snipers and after listening to some of their stories I wouldn't trust some of them with a water pistol ;-)
It's the same as some of them that quote being ex army, it doesn't always follow that they are safe in a UK/civilian environment, some only do their PWT once a year and the only other time they have a firearm is when they are on guard or pay escort !!

Sounds like you've had a hard time from one. Didn't bag off the missus whilst you were out on the hill by chance? :D

All this chat about a&s not granting is rollox. They can and have granted. What you are experiencing is the odd kn@b who cant be arsed to do his job and talk in a fair and structured way to an applicant.

oh and never discuss things with the police......just apply and justify in writing why you need one. I often wonder why forums are full of "they wont let me have it". Its because you give them
a reason to dismiss you. They see you a mile off.
