Has anyone heard of any current problems with hunters bringing a rifle with a moderator through J-berg airport for a South African hunt? I heard from a friend that hunters are currently experiencing difficulties with SA customs if they have a moderator with them?

Can anyone advise me of the real situation out there?

Mike apparently it is happening. Although it shouldn't. We have no laws or rules restricting people from using silencers. so although they are going to give you some stick they can't really do anything.
