South west red hind weight?

Evening all,
Just a quick question for those down south ? What would you consider an average weight post graloch, head and feet off, jacket still on please?
I was up in Dorset last week and was surprised at how small the sika hinds were ( obviously alive) I always thought they were only slightly smaller than red hinds, but the ladies I currently have lined up for a few days time are at least 50% larger .

I do not know about Devon Reds (deer not cattle) but in the S Lakes and N Lancs the mature (>2 years old) hinds averaged 130 lbs 59kg at dealer's weight; i.e. head and legs off, liver and lights out, skin on (dry!). I shot a number of hinds over 160lbs that is 72.5kg over the years. Most were, or had been, yeld in the preceding year. On the hill, not many miles away the hinds averaged 120lbs - 54.4kg but there were a great many fat lambs put away form that ground most summers and in an average year fewer than 40% went as store lambs.
The emparked fallow does weighed 66lbs on average = 29.9kg say 30kg from in between those 2 estates but nearly at sea level.

Sika hinds are surprisingly small...larder weight for a hind in good condition is often no more than an average of 24-25kg. A good heathland stag at this time of year may top 50kg larder weight on the hook.....a lot lighter than both fallow and red

Very interesting replies thank you.
I have to get amongst some very troublesome local reds this week or next, I will try and report back on the weights, they are definitely BIG.
