I'll say again. I sold my Boss in December 2021 and made a loss on what I'd paid for it. Yet the price I got would now buy a PAIR of London made guns, at auction, in this Spring 2023, of similar quality, age and condition. I dread to think what would be the loss I'f take on the Boss if I sold it now. Everyday I thank BASC for their helpful lead shot diktat....

Sorry for your loss just loved boss guns never owned but had the joy of looking after a couple of pairs and loading for their owners, considering throwing money down drain and buying a Boswell live pigeon gun and having it buried with me

It does look like a lot of personal gun rooms have been cleared out into lots, at least it's not been dumped in the bin....

As an aside I tried opening an account but got cold feet when they asked for too much personal info. As in how secure is their database?

Yes indeed The kids will get it I did toy with selling it in the US but I don't know how easy that is

I have dealt with Southams for nearly thirty plus years from when it was a Thrapston at the Corn Exchange and an evening sale ending sometimes at 10pm and then at Northampton Cattle Market and then, now, at Bedford. I have never had an issue with them. Ever. They've always been 100% straight with me.
