Spartan Davros (Pro) - experience

Does anyone have any experience with a Spartan Davros or Davros Pro head mounted on a tripod for shooting purposes? Is it stable enough for a steady shot or just a rubbish solution that is nowhere near the stability of quad sticks? Thanks for sharing your opinion…

I sold mine as I am not that keen on the bi pods. That said the Davros onto bog pod I did like very much stable and I shot to 100 yards confidently and odd times further. ( I like stalking ). Quads are probably more stable but fussier

I’ve had a go with one, admittedly not on my own setup, but it wasn’t a patch on a decent set of quad sticks.

Had a set of the tripods from spartan with that style head on it didn't really get on with it currently use the blaser quad sticks find this much better especially with the moving front handle giving you movement without having to move sticks so much

I bought a Benro carbon tripod and mounted a Davros Pro head. I will take it to South Africa in February and put it through its paces. If I don’t get on with it, I can still use the tripod for spotting and my Viperflex sticks for shooting. I will share my experience later on.
