Spartan holsters?

Hi. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to use for a holster for a spartan probing tac? Seems the leather holsters are not made anymore. They seem to be selling plenty of bipods, so what are people using to hold them? I’ve got the longer leg versions, but presume the holster would work with both. If anyone has an old leather holster they want to send of course that would be great too!

Red Kettle made a canvas type holster for the Spartan bipods. I had 1, but sold it along with a spare bipod that I had.

Thanks Colin. Their lines say it’s not suitable for the tac versions - only the thinner javelins. It’s strange given the price of the bipods and people charging £50 for a little strip of fabric. You’d think someone would be ready to cash in at that price and supply something.

The leather ones were the best I have one I’ve used for years ask a leather worker to make one up. There’s a fellow on here who makes beautiful belts who could help u out I’m sure. Redkettle ones are a faff in my view

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been fortunate that another SD member has now sold me their leather one on the back of this posting. Alan

Lucky you I’d love another I always found the redkettle a faff to get the bipod in and out of. There’s leather ones it is worth shortening the tab on the press stud so it doesn’t catch and undo. About 1/2” is plenty

There are plenty of appropriately sized molle magazine pouches online that fit the various models and sizes of bipod and they only cost a few quid. Plus they keep the whole bipod inside so no risk of losing a leg if it unscrews like some of the older models.

I got one of these and melted a small circular hole in the webbing that the magnetic attachment can go through so it cant slip out sideways. Works well and only a couple of quid.
