Can you possibly take a precise measurement of the complete case length.
I've seen something like this before when the cases are not trimmed sufficiently in the final production.
But it could also be too brittle material.
They look like they have been crimped, but hard to tell in a picture.

If the cases are not to be reloaded it doesn't matter, otherwise you could possibly ask for some form of compensation from the dealer.

I just purchased 200 Sako Powerhead once fired cases off an OP on this site, all had been crimped.
The crimped edge had multiple micro splits that stopped at the bottom of the crimp.
Those cases have been crimped.

What do you mean by rounds in a bullet production?

The specific cartridges made in a factory production batch lot. (lot number usually indicated on the packaging)

few years ago I was using hornady super performance in 270 and the cases were splitting down near the primer it was a new box and out of the 3 shots I fired 2 cases had split

Am I seeing things and I’m not sure how it’s possible, it looks like there are lands marks on the end of the split cases?

Looks like a crimp to me.

As mentioned above the case mouth looks very much how a case that’s been crimped with a Lee crimp die looks.

Are you 100% sure these aren’t reloads?

I thought the same, never seen crimping like that on Sako factories.
