If you are a keen fisherman and the hill is too wet, a day on the river, Salmon fishing, catch and release only, is available. Only one hour drive from Glasgow/ Glasgow airport.

thanks for your vigilance but in this case all is well, the estate office, as well as the one for the Ardkinglas advert, got in touch with me before posting and we sorted it all out. It is my fault I shall have to get them to indicate that we have been contacted for future reference.

But, I like your style Mr TJ, must be all the practice you have been getting at being observant

As a point the advert for this estate is asking for £300 a stag, I assume thats with VAT and if so this is a good price for these days for a day out on the Stags. Most estates are charging between £350 and £500 a Stag now.

Wanting to make the most of the SD trip to Scotland i contacted Ian hoping at short notice he might be able to fit me in for a stalk on the saturday..

Ten minutes later Ians contacted the local inn, number given and booked..

Hopefully weather and luck permitting im looking forward to a great start to what i hope will be a fantastic week..

I have posted under the general discussion my experience stalking with Ian..

Anybody looking for the experience of a lifetime could not do better than spending time with this very knowledgeable and professional fella out on the hill..
