Stalker returning after many years away.

Located in NE Scotland. I'm not new to stalking but it was put on hold for for many years due to raising the family.
I have picked up a nice local permission and I have well and truly caught the bug again!

Now I am playing catch up with new gear, increased expectations from game dealers, fellow stalkers and police.

I need to get DSC1 completed in the near future although I'm now confused by the introduction of PDS1.

Currently crossing my fingers that a solution to the 243-copper ammo issue is resolved. As much as I am tempted by a 270, it really isn't an option to me just now.

Why?

The latter is a made up course and not recognised, and unless you are going down the 'contractor' route I would not bother with DSC if you already know what you are doing.

Why? Unless you are shooting on land that specifies copper ammo (if so, how do they check? ) or your gamedealer has wrongly informed you that copper ammo is required for you to sell carcasses, there is no reason not to carry on using lead, and many good reasons to keep using it!
