Just have a watch & listen to the yank doctor in New York!, he said it's worse than 911, we were open & waiting then, but nobody came, now we are over run & his daughter is an intern at another nearby hospital & very young & her first shift is in ICU.

Do we want to get out to shoot deer or just to get away from close confinement from our 'nearest and dearest' (with the shooting of a deer an incidental bonus)? For my part I think I know my reason 
I have decided that I can probably recreate a typical morning stalk without getting into the car or going anywhere in breach of any lock down. It goes something like this:
Heck, I could probably even take my rifle with me and then also enjoy the hour or so spent afterwards getting it back up to room temperature and fettling it before putting it away!
Joking aside, I do understand why people want to go out. It's also something I've thought long and hard about. I am however unable to convince myself that I should be entitled to any exemption from lock down for purposes of my recreational stalking. As others have said, the deer will still be there in a few weeks time and I hope we are all too!

- Get up at silly o'clock;
- Go out into the garden in the dark and find somewhere uncomfortable to freeze my nuts off for a few hours;
- Not see any deer;
- Enjoy the peace and tranquility;
- Go back into the house empty handed; and

Exactly, government response initially was nobody goes out unless you're a front line worker, now they've back pedalled and saying everyone can continue to work even if it's non essential work as long as we stay 2m apart, and even that you only have to stay 2m apart "where possible". So basically I have to carry on working even though it's putting me and others at risk, but when I get home I can't leave my garden??? Sending out totally the wrong message. By the way I still won't be going shooting, even though I'd like to, because I think staying at home is the right thing to do.
Yup, It's official, P45 next Friday, Redundant as of last Monday end of trading, Just put workshop & yard keys in the post,So, might be having to liqiudate some equipment from the gunroom if nothing crops up, Thermals / Bino's etc.

Don't make any fast decisions. Take it day by day. The amount of large infrastructure projects that will kick off post CV in order to get (borrowed) cash in to the economy will offer as many opportunities as the current situation offers misery.
