Quick update on this chaps,
I'm just back from the range where I've tried out the new, federal brass loads. All works fine, no extraction issues at all. This is the same load as was previously used with the PPU stuff, excepting slightly more 'squash' from the full length sizing die, which is currently set as per Lee instructions and gives basically minimum case dimensions.
Seems sorted. I'll start moving back towards a more 'fitted' FL sizing regime and continue to test loads around the 55 grain area which seems to give reasonable velocity with no pressure issues.
