Bloody hell. I remember not so long ago you didn't really see Magpies until you were around Cumbernauld and Glasgow. Now the damn things are absolutely everywhere

I reckon the spread of maggies was helped when the AWL was invoked.
People until then had carried out culls without anybody noticing.

About 10 years ago suddenly reduction in air weapons and increase in magpies.
