Strelok Pro versus Applied Ballistics

Happy to see that Chairgun has done some sort of deal with Strelok!

I've just looked for it on Google Play and it's not there.

The app store, for Android devices, is Google Play, as far as I'm aware. I run a Google phone and a Nokia phone, both Android.

Having just had an iPhone blip yesterday and having to reset and start from scratch again with the same phone I have lost Strelok just like allot of people have or will.

In the search for an alternative I have found an iPhone app called Chairgun Elite +. It’s early days but it seems pretty good.

Also it seems to be very similar to Strelok in appearance and use. When I say similar it’s uncanny in places like targets etc.

One, IMO, nifty feature in Strelok is the MPBR (or MRD as Strelok calls it) calculator. Used to use ShootersCalculator but it doesn't do metric.

If you have StrelokPro on two apple devices, you can transfer the app from one device to another new device i.e. from an iPad to a new iPhone. This by-passes the app stores and works fine.

I also have it on a pair of SigSaur 10k bins

Both excellent bits of kit that will pair (sort of)

The Sigs allow for an easy truing but I believe once trued you have then dropped out of a custom drag model

For the pairing, make sure you set the refresh rate on the Kestrel correctly (requires the Kestrel app, not the Kestrel ballistics app). That setting allows the devices to go to sleep, and then "wake up" when one device activates. I know Leicas need this, but am unsure about the Sig's. I wanted to toss that out there, just in case that is the issue you are having with pairing....
