Yup, i have those 139 ppu sps at the moment, and i am using them in sweden (lead hunting ammo is still allowed there) and for training/case harvesting here in Denmark.
So far they seem like pretty decent ammo for the price, and if i for 1.5 US a shot can get both hunting/training done, and harvest ok brass, that is a pretty good deal, well least vs general brass or factory loaded ammo prices over here in Denmark.
My plan is to to FL resize the brass, but only bumping the shoulder back 2-3 thousands of an inch, so that they fit my rifles chamber, and not to full saami/cip specs. As @deeangeo suggested this will hopefully also prolong the case life.
But let's get back to seeing pics of beautiful stutzens!

hm, each to their own of course, but not a look for me. 
At least not without the surpressor or break mounted and the barrel sticking out of the (almost) full stock, like that. Wether having the supressor mounted would help look wise, i do not know.
I wonder if one could combine these two things, and make a protruding barrel design like the above, but with the screw on protection cap for the barrel end, (when no mod is mounted), be replaced with a cap + end of stock bit, so that when the protection cap is on, and no mod is mounted, it looks much more like a full stutzen.

The only meaningful and aesthetically acceptable suppressed stutzen would be one with a full over-barrel moderator and forend stocking profiled accordingly.
As an aside, I think a thumbhole stutzen would look cool and possibly even appeal to the Creed-beared brigade.

If kept in nice wood and steel, and with the thumbhole done in a discreet and slick way, so it doesnt look clumpsy and sticks out, but instead rather flows with the pistol grip-but of the stock area, then maybe yes. We'd need to see it to judge

I’ve been shooting clays (stationary) at 140m with my Heym stutzen this week. For some reason took a different rifle on the hill but the Stutzen would have been very adequate.

I’ve wanted a Mauser 66 in most any configuration ever since I first saw one in 1973 ! I was 12 and had just bought a new 700 BDL 243 and a friend had a 66 in 243 LNIB he wanted to sell , I’d used up my meager savings on the 700 and he didn’t wanna trade so I didn’t get it . Since then I’ve seen several others but typically they been a bit battered and bruised so I always passed .
There's a 7 x 57 on Guntrader just now at £699. It's an interesting design for sure! If the one for sale was a Stutzen I'd be putting in for a variation!

Likewise and since about the same time but never got to see one in the flesh so let it slide from my consciousness until 50 something years later! I pontificated about this rifle for more than 12-months but finally pulled the trigger and do not regret it. Its in very good condition and now in a sensible woodland-freindly colour.

18" of rifleling. Forgot to measure OL but its a petite rifle for sure. Kind of glad the all-steel S&B 50mm objective scope is a weighty thing.how long is the barrel and rifle overall length, with the telescopic action shortening things?
