Sub 12

I had a HW100 in 177. Little laser beam. Sold it and got an AirArms S510 (FAC). Currently got a sub 12 Snowpeak P35 with a reflex red dot sight which I just use for feral pigeons in and around farm buildings.
Not a lot of difference between sub 12 PCPs in terms of accuracy. Most are good enough for rabbits out to about 30-40 yds so no point in lashing out £££s on a flashy FX if you are using it just for hunting.
I paid about £750 for a new HW100 about 5 years ago but I see they are now around the £1k mark and you need to add £150-£200 to that for an air bottle.

wolverine mk 1. PCP :thumb: does the job nicely

very accurate, quiet and nice to shoot in 177 cal

hole on hole at 35 yds

out with it tonight on rats prior to a change of rifles on foxes

FWIW and IMHO any and all .177 sub 12ft/lbs benefit greatly from being fitted with a regulator and work best with "heavy for calibre" pellets. Any and all .22 sub 12ft/lbs don't need to be fitted with a regulator and work best with "standard" weight pellets.

Not sure what all that means at the start 🤷🏿‍♀️
But I love JSB Heavy in .177 and JSB Hades in .22 👍🏽
