5 or six house martins on tuesday
Im saprised as it was a good year for them last year 2 broods for most and possibly 3 for some .. no swifts this year ?

Saw first house Martin today.

Cuckoo on Thursday and a couple of House Martins on Saturday (but in Durham) so they don’t count for my stats! I still find it odd that they are regularly spotted so much further North than here?

House Martins arrived yesterday, quite a lot of them too, already busy repairing nests.

Saw a few Swallows looking at last years nest sites last Sunday - Powys. Hope they decide they are ok as love having them about
