Swallow, Swift and Martin watch!

Nope. Mine cost me about £7k 17 years ago. About 25 by 35m. Mix of depths and irregular outline. But had a lot of joy from it. And shot a few ducks flighting it. I initially used clay lining. The bentonite in sacking material. Useless. Just get the synthetic stuff then 300cm of earth over it. Subsoil. Not top soil. Too much nitrogen. Water plants to oxygenate. NOT Elodea Crispa. Another mistake. Taken me years to get rid of
Synthetic? Like a liner?

I love swallows...but wish I could leave the doors in my shed or chiller open for more then 5 mins without them trying to nest in there :)

Fortunately they have plenty of more sensible options so hopefully we have a couple of pairs nesting.

This ^^^ the little buggers are in like a shot and once they start they just won't stop!

Staying near Paleros in Greece on hols. There are literally 1000s of swallows everywhere. By far the most common bird. Nests everywhere. Even in the top of a sun brolly over a table we had lunch at yesterday. And 100s of swifts nesting in the sea cave on Meganisi island
