My pal has a lease near Freiburg and is having high amounts of boar damage on his and his neighbouring hunting leases and he would like to open up this offer. He has shot 14 boar this year even though he is very busy.
He has a thermal hand held for spotting. All firearms 8x56 scopes & ammo will be loaned and I will be escorting the person to make it all legal. Stansted with Ryanair are offering £20 return at end of January for a 4 day weekend.
Just wonder if there is any interest. Need to use the estate rifle rule in UK as a proviso.

My pal also has an rfd if any special stuff was needed to be ordered for taking back to UK by the way. He has been hunting in Germany for over 30 years.

My pal went to his local licensing office today and they said that they would want a scan of FAC/EFP to prove you having been cleared by the UK polis to own a hunting rifle and a proof of having insurance when in Germany (BASC/NGO etc with the note of their insurance limit required is =500.000 Euro für Personenschäden = person and 50.000 Euro für Sachschäden = property) and if possible a proof of your hunting rights in the = UK ie sporting rights contract, they would then issue a 14 day tagesjagdschein (visitors license) costs für Ausländer/foreigner = 35,00 Euro plus Jagdabgabe 20,45 Euro. That then lets you sit alone on a high seat or be out on a drive with his loaner rifle for up to 14 days. So very a reasonable cost similar to that of a UK visitors FAC.

It seems like a great offer. It is on my bucket list to shoot a boar in Germany.
The place I stalk only has muntjac too.
Oh what to do. I'm sure anybody would have a great trip. I love Germany it is a great friendly and traditional country.
But I'm always working when I'm there.

I am sure he would but travel restrictionsboth ways seem to be the blocker to doing it at the moment. I was with him over the 1st May opening weekend on bucks and he seems not to have changed his mind.
