Swarovski El Range TA - tech help pls!

Hi Folks - 2 questions on the functionality in these binos please.

1. Do the binos overide the Atmospheric temperature and pressure values received from the transfer of data from the Swarovski ballistics app for that particular rifle/load or do they simply provide you a read out of the current temp and pressure?

2. Linked to 1. above and when ranging a target, if I’ve configured my binos to show ‘distance’ (actual ranged distance) in the top line of my display and ‘number of clicks’ in the bottom line of my display. Will the binos provide me a reading on the second line that equals the true ballistics range for these scenarios:

i) assuming a hypothetical point of aim (POI) which involves an angle of 40 degrees and a range of say 250 meters.
Q: will the binos return a hypothetical reduced number of clicks into the second line of my display which equals the true ballistic range?

ii) assume a scenario where it’s below freezing temperatures and there’s an extreme low pressure. In hypothetical theory this, for a given distance/POI this scenario could again impact bullet trajectory.
Q: links with question 1. I’m keen to understand if the binos use the current exact day/time temp and pressure readings to again provide a hypothetical reduced number of click into the bottom line of my display? (Essentially showing the true ballistic range factoring in that particular days/time pressure and temperature readings).

Thanks
Alex

Thanks for the video. No mention of clicks but it must be fair to assume that the corrected number clicks is shown in the bottom line.

I tried talking to Sabine but I didn’t really get all my questions answered. I’m pretty sure it must override with current. I’ve recently acquired some dongs, will look to stretch my T3x CTR and check results ….just for the hell of it.

Did you get an answer to the original question I guess the second line includes weather and corrected distance?

Hi - it wasn’t super clear that said I think they do factor in the current ATMOS and current TEMP. If POI is at an angle that needs compensation my understanding is that the EL’s will take all three static data reference points and return the correct value in the second line (using G1) or whatever you selected in the Swarovski ballistics app.

It makes sense that anything in the second line would include all atmospheric data and the corrected distance. Many thanks
