Just me then
IR switch fell off my Z6i so drove directly to Swaro Optics in Redhill to be told it needed to be sent away? The switch just clicks in so I asked if a switch could be posted to me and offered to pay
No they said. We even have to post off our ones when this switch falls off??????
They had the scope for four weeks. so had this been my only Rifle id have been screwed.
I asked them not to remove the optilocks as I would need to re zero which isn't easy for me
When it came back it was repaired FOC which is nice, but the zero wasn't even on the paper.
A single shot zero missed the paper which lead to a 25m zero just to get it on the paper. then another half dozen rounds fecking about to get it re zeroed.
It would have been nice if they told me they had messed with it
IMHO how hard can it be to upgrade the IR switch to have a MUCH more positive on and off resistance. The MK1 Z6 was a manufacturing fault that should have been recalled and sorted out properly
And don't get me started on my mega expensive but rubbish Swaro lens covers.
The novelty value of keep pushing the hinge pin back in and accidently removing the rear cover just with the force required to open the lid, has worn off.
Don't get me wrong, its great glass but every one telling me how wonderful Swaro customer service is makes me angry because they really are not
that good in comparison and for the money we pay.
What they generally are, is free. Which is enough for some people.
Personally id have rather paid and just had the switch delivered and not lost the use of my favourite rifle.
