Just a heads up to anyone thinking of sending anything back for repair - swarovskis service is absolutely fantastic however I sent a pair of EL’s back last week as the circle for the range finder has weirdly gone out of focus (tried all manner of adjustments) I am sure they will fix it but I called today to ensure they had arrived in the U.K. office and the very nice lady explained it would be Jan or feb before I get them back due to a backlog….😳

Not a lot that can be done but just a long wait for a much loved companion!!

Regards,
Gixer

They recently changed their SAP system for management and everything stopped for 3 months so I suspect there will be a rolling backlog until they have caught up. It was planned and communicated well and they had good reasons for doing it - unfortunately, it means a hopefully temporary interregnum in their otherwise excellent service.

Yes, for sure - I don’t think it’s in their control and they have been excellent over the years so I will not hold this against them. 👍🏻

There having a new systems installed I believe.
They have been advising on delays for a few months now.
Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.

I recently sent a pair of RF bins back that were 8 year old and they are carrying out full repair and service FOC They confirmed today a return within 14 days so all in that’s 6 weeks total turnaround.

Thanks Swarovski

Similar service to me, took three weeks from despatch for them to confirm receipt (presumably customs). But once received they inspected the items and advised of a free repair within a week and two weeks later confirmed the item has been repaired and will be returned to me (presumably via Swarovski UK as that's how I sent it).

Very happy.

We always had a great experience with Swarovski in the years of our cooperation. As already mentioned above, they changed their SAP system recently and that might be the reason for a bit of delay, but we are sure they'll be back on track in no time. Their aftersales customer service is practically unmatched, rivaled only by maybe Steiner.

Here's to you getting your companion back in a reasonable time frame. 🍻

Luckily my back up pair of Bino’s are Steiners! 😂

Item has just been returned to me. Great service from swarovski, shame UPS deemed it suitable to dump the scope in the food waste bin outside and post a card. Absolute idiots.
