I’m looking to replace the wood stock on my .308 Sauer 202. I’ve looked online and can’t seem to find after market stocks like GRS or KKC for example. There’s nothing wrong with the wood btw.

Both kkc and grs have made stocks for 202's

Grs, I believe, stopped due to a less than optimal mounting system on the butt stock part of the stock.

Kkc still lists them
They look like this
A kkc dealer should be able to order one for you.

The original Sauer 202 synthetic one, with the straight comb, is a good stock, handles recoil way better than the swept one.
i was lucky to get mine cheap, they are (way to) expensive.
This typ for reference

Other than this, the fbt already mentioned, is the only alternative I know of.

GRS are offering the Hunter Light and Sporter laminate stocks for the Sauer 202. Did you find any other options?

K Kc stocks are fantastic , I have one on my sauer 202 in .308 and it has made it superbly accurate with the bipod as it is far more rigid than the manufacturers synthetic.
It did take a long time to arrive after ordering though

Thanks. I’ve seen that KKC and GRS do stocks for the 202. Are they pretty much the same quality etc? I’ve no experience of either.

I have a KKC on my 202 and have no issues with it not quite as easy to adjust as the GRS but once it’s set up it’s a great stock.
