Tanning

I am sure this has been done to death before but l had a chap stalking with me who duley got his beast and now wonts the hide tanned, l have it in the freezer but wont to get it to a tanners asap can any of you chaps point me in the direction of a tanners in east anglia and any idea of how much it would cost.

There's a good firm of tanners on your door step right in Cambridge. They are not the cheapest but they do a first class job.

All I can recall is they are based in Sawston.

I new about the tanners in sawaton but could not find anything about them so assumed they are no longer trading, anyway all sorted now- thanks
 
just got this hide back from Fenland sheepskins in Bridgewater, £35 inc VAT and postage, it took about 9 weeks.

Nice skin, pity my 6 didn't come back like that.

Current price for roe skin is £22 + vat + postage and it takes a couple of months.

thanks, I got this back about a week ago, and it was about 9 weeks or so in the factory, although they did tell me sheepskins are taking almost 3 months at the moment (deerskins apparently get a faster service)
