Thanks for your support and feedback on shooting policy and campaigns

Just a quick line to say thanks to all SD members for their support and feedback on policy issues this year in the many discussion threads and support on the campaigns front and offline via messages and emails. Sure, there are different viewpoints on many topics, and that will always be the case, but we all want to see shooting continue and thrive across all disciplines, whether target or live quarry, for now, and the next generation. As for BASC - it is made up of people - its members, its volunteers, its advisory committees, its elected Council members setting strategy and policy - and the BASC staff that are delegated to run the day to day operations. The video below is a wee tongue in cheek reminder of the human aspect - with various bloopers from some of our films. Be nice!

Merry Christmas to you all!

Connor, thank you for all your tireless work. Do keep posting regularly here as I for one really appreciate it and read with interest. I regard my long-standing BASC membership as invaluable. Best wishes to you for a very happy Christmas.

Thank you for your long-standing support of BASC - and hope you are having a very happy Christmas. Various BASC staff are on standby and others continue to work through the festive period and 2024 will no doubt be another busy year promoting and protecting shooting.

Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas Connor, can't make everyone happy but you do so with dignity without falling into the slanging matches.

That last comment had me thinking I must've been a member for around 32 years or so???? Think I joined at around 18 or 19! Jeepers!

Thanks for that, and for your longstanding support! BASC has certainly grown from strength to strength across all shooting disciplines over those three decades.
