That was quick..

Gaz
Les was some guy
Infact it was Les who got me into hunting or should I say walking, he was one fit barsteward and made me follow him
I used to work with Les at the time so I had no choice..lol
funnily enough he still works for the same firm who is now run by one of my best mates
Aled was only young back then so never got to see him in action
To experience such a pack of Welsh fox hounds in action in all their glory was one thing, but to take a left & right at foxes on such a day was a crowning of glory
Now that was special
long live the Afonwy... long live the hunt
And raise a special glass to Mr Jones the ole bugger
used to go round bedlinog at it

you want to save your breath i reckon norma
it would probably be alot easier to go in and do a lamping job but with the bosses son very pally with the new masters i have to be seen to do something to encourage hunting on our patch ,i am taking foxs regular on the kebab ,but with kennels only 1/2 mile away .Igotta do more early morning late eve !i also did myself no favours last season when the pack caught two very dead lamped foxs i left for later disposal ,that was embarrasing ,but quite funny :D

norma dint see why the two should not go side by side always thought gun packs and well placed safe guns with bbshot is quite efficent possibly more so than lamping foxes work 24/7 we only lamp a few minutes in each field. Our mounted pack know me now and never fail to find in my area especially when they use my local knowledge we get on and a dead fox is a good fox after all thats the common goal.:fox::tiphat:

yes agreed ,dont wanna be known as a murdering b stard all my life ,live and let live a little bit any how :D.getting older and wiser now and the new huntsman is only young wanna help him if i can .
