The bullet or head debate goes on.

Bullet, a word derived from the French boulette, meaning "small ball. And that's what early bullets were -- small lead balls fired from smoothbore weapons.

I find it difficult to get my head around these foreign words....

Not TOO difficult to find out the ACTUAL name of the projectile thing sitting on the front of the cartridge....
Sadly, the proof of the pudding that ANYONE can become an RFD, with zero knowledge, is also out there - esp. given the commonplace use of the wrong term by one importer

That side of the argument buy from a very small factory...

Cars have brakes... handbrake & foot brake.
Loads of people refer to case head or bullet head & dont find it aggravating for any reason. Most sellers/sites list bullet heads the same way.
You dont see people jumping on me for calling it a car & not a Class IV petroleum automotive as their correctly known. They just buy a car like the rest of us

Why not use projectile? That not only make's sense but is also impossible to confuse with body parts.:stir::stir:
