On Reading and viewing the dross around the GL and how this has impacted the average joe , who go's along on an invite like me to be an added gun for Pest control to help save someone's crops.
So ? I have not got my own land so I can't enter it on the forms needed to obtain a bit of paper to stay within the law .
This type of predicament is playing out for many as you read this post there are a lot of us that find ourselves in it , it has not been mentioned within any papers or other in any place i'v seen ! or by any of the main players in our defence ????:-|
So is this the end of the come along shooter or the payday shooter for pigeon shooting /pest control ??? and they who can't in law get a cert open or otherwise to continue Shooting over land that he/she has been ask to help out on , and they have no right to be there shooting in law ? . All be it at the request from a farmer/ gamekeeper or on land a club has the rights on that in the winter use's it for wildfowling and has the pest control as a bi-product of this . I can't find a blanket cert for clubs or farmers / keepers or any other that will allow them to say its ok within the laws as set out of now.
any clue or is this the End .

According to SACS the onus is on the landowner, or the occupier of the land, to obtain in it's new form the new Licence. he or she can then delegate to whomsoever he or she wishes the authority to carry out the killing of the relevant pest bird. So it's not the end of the "come along shooter" nor the "payday shooter" but it does mean that there's going for the immediate present paperwork to be done. And, according to SACS, if that Licence doesn't exist and you, the shooter, are then challenged by either NE or the police it'll be you that faces the music.

Sounds again like someone needs to get there thinking cap on ? again the guy who pays into the Orgs has once again been left to fend for himself yet again , But on the plus side we won't need to pay for insurance anymore there have to pay for there own days out and nice RR , also it will be a way of saving a few ££££££ a year
