In Scotland, my opinion is that if you are working within a licence, Lamping and Out of Season, then a thermal should be granted. Having shot plenty under a lamp, they soon get wise. Roe Doe with twins or triplets for example, if you don’t get the family group, next time under a lamp, the remainders will not hang about.. Reds don’t seen as clever as Roe to understand the disruption of a lamp and will often give you another go, but after a couple of lamping goes on a heard, they learn.
