Things To Do In Lockdown

Just wish I’d got my load testing done for the new creedmoor and hornet, was planning on that tonight!!! Still, .223AI, hornet(old load that shoots ok), .357, 25-45, 6.5x55 and 7.5x55 to contend with

Might order some components and make up some arrows too, will break the bow out and learn how to shoot that again if this drags on

I have an ever-increasing list!

- Build new shutters for the upstairs storage in the barn.

- Bleed the brakes on the Cherokee

- Fit new propshaft bearings to the wife's truck

- Track rod-end to same

- Sort out tool benches

- Fix compressor

- Get the horses feet trimmed

- Sort out the broken glass in the greenhous

- Fix the fencing around the sheep pasture

- Find the sheep

And it goes on . . . .

I keep adding to my list but so far I have only knocked off one task, garage reorganisation I am caught between who I should be listening to

1) Our PM (This is going on for months) in which case no need to rush

2) Or listen to Trump yesterday he wants America back to work by Easter, in which case I need to get stuck in to job list ASAP!!!

I will leave you to decide which of the options you believe

Just did a hack that I had been toying with for years to put one of my pump screwdrivers back into action by fitting a bitholder into the head. The old drivers cannot be bought anymore.

What is everyone else planning on???

This is what happened in my house this morning...

Right. All stalking on hold. Bisley closed for the foreseeable.

I have boarded out the attic. I have even hoovered the house. What to do now?
Have been putting it off but what about stripping down and cleaning the Henry Rifle (never done that before - how hard can it be?)

Stripping and cleaning: not hard.
Re-assembling the damn thing? Spent nearly two hours of my life this morning - two hours that I am never going to get back - trying to re-site the ejector.
Eventually managed it, but for the avoidance of any doubt, that rifle will not be strip cleaned again until the next pandemic.

I was told we are closing shop on Friday ,( most of the sites/ non essential jobs are )

Change of plan , I'm now going to a different hospital ( I'm a project manager At Wythenshawe hospital in manchester and all non essential work has been stopped ) to refurb a 50 bed ward into an isolation unit for this virus

I could have taken the 80% deal off my employers and sat on my arse for a few weeks , but I might as well get stuck in and get this done for the NHS , I'm not one to sit on my arse and if I can do my bit to help , then why not

Enjoy your self pleasures and reloading lol lol
