Sako/Tikka does not list such information for older models, but T3x Lite Stainless in 223 Rem has M14x1 thread (or no thread)
If UK importer has ordered large enough batch from Sako, they might have specified their own details like thread. AFAIK 1/2"-28 UNEF is/was somewhat popular in UK?

It's been M14 on the lite models for many years (M18 on the varmint barrel models)

Take it to Screwfix in a slip and try from their nut boxes (ask the manager for permission first). Or am I a nut box for suggesting this?
That might not be so easy - just checked their website and they don't sell M14 nuts
M12 or M16 no problem, but no M14
Also, the M14 thread on a Tikka T3 has a thread pitch of 1mm
Most off the shelf M14 nuts are 1.5 or 2mm pitch, so won't fit

Any decent gunsmith will have a set of moderator thread testers to check for you.
It is M14-1, my l/h T3 lite stainless 6.5x55.

I stand to be corrected…. But I don’t think any are 15x1 , as far as I know they now are 5/8x24 unef which is close to 15x1 but not the same ….
The T3 sporter barrel was 14x1
The T3 varmint barrel was 18x1
Edit . To clarify if your rifle is a T3 ( not t3x ) and factory thread it’s most likely 14x1

The simple answer is to measure it... if it is 1/2" 12.7 then 1/2" unf as they don't make a 13mm
14mm then it will not be 15mm
The closest match could be 16mm or 5/8"
One would hope there is a Vernier in the man cave.

T3x Lite (incl. SS) factory offerings are M14x1, with the exception of 7mm RM, 300 WM, 8.7x57 IS, 9.3x62 that are M15x1.
Varmint are M18x1, and CTR/UPR/etc. 5/8-24 (even in 223).
Then there are rifles around that are not factory spec. And published factory spec might drag behind real factory spec.

Countryman are usually pretty good with their specs and lots of other T3x options on their website in 223 that are shown as 14x1.
So for @lovingit - no way of knowing without measuring unfortunately

It doesn't matter to factory spec, what kind of rifles some dealer or distributor has. If you go to Sako/Tikka site, select T3x and model you're interested in:

You're just being pedantic now. You used the phrase "factory offerings" in your earlier post. The rifles I mentioned are undoubtedly factory cut, ergo, they are "factory offerings".
So for the OP, the point is that there is no standard and he needs to check an individual rifle to be sure. The configuration viewer will not help this.
According to beretta Nz they are now 15x1, our pig hunter packages have 15x1 as supplied by DPT, but you could be right in Europe. I use thread testers from DPT if in doubts as you say you can put a 15x1 on a 5/8 x24 but they tend to fly off.
