Trggertrix and Caberslash I'm going to fall out with both of you, well at least partially disagree anyway.

I speak as I find and I've only had very positive dealings with Alan Rhone. I found the guy to be a pleasure to deal with.
I like open sights on a rifle and given the choice will usually go with open sights on a sporting rifle as a backup.

It's Patridge sight and not partridge sight.

AR and I go back a long way, not going to get into a slagging thing, but happy your experiences were good.

This is a restoration project to bring back to 'originality

I'd be interested to see before and after photo. I too am a fan of the old Tikkas and have several, currently giving some love to a M55 .222 .

Have stayed loyal to Tikka ever since.

I have 690 deluxe fore & rear sights near new .
