Tikka T1X Chassis / Stock

Looking for options and opinions.

The standard stock is too small for me and I’m starting to use my T1X for some NRL22 competitions but also still take it out on the rabbits.

I like the look of the MDT XRS but wondered what else to consider and where to buy and even better if there’s any on offer for a good price!

Thanks

Got an MDT oryx chassis on my Tikka T3 tactical but you can also get one for the T1X. Nice chassis with plastic side panels so not cold on the hands in winter. Previously had a MDT LSS chassis but didn't like it. Cheers Glyn

I too have the Oryx chassis on my T3X Varmint & loving it. Yes, it's heavy but makes it very stable on target & it's also very "handleable"....the pistol grip makes it easier to lift onto my quad sticks than the standard Varmint stock or my previous Berserk stock

I have a krg bravo chassis on mine and I love it.
I quite like the mdt xrs and oryx chassis as well but I just prefer the bravo.
The bravo is also about 1lb lighter which suits me as I use the rifle for rabbit shooting as well.

E-Tac works very well with the universal T3 bedding. In deer season the stock can be swopped onto the T3 deer rifle. All the practice with the 22lr can be put to good use then.

The MDT XRS allows for weight kits to be added internally and externally, so added weight and balance can be achieved for competition and removed for hunting.
