Tikka T1x

Does anyone use this in.22lr with 16 inch barrel and the roughtec stock and if so is that stock much better or worse than the standard one? How good is the accuracy and the trigger, thanks in advance

I have 1. 16 inch barrel. Just not in that stock.

Trigger is excellent, same as any other Tikka trigger (I fitted a lighter trigger spring)

Accuracy is spot on too, I use RWS subs in mine for bunny bashing. Though to be fair it likes most decent ammo.

Just bought one and haven't used it yet. Can only say the roughtech emerald stock is much nicer to hold than the standard one. And a good deal if you get the stalon mod and picatinny with it, tipped me from the cz457 to the tikka.

Hi I have a T1X in both .22 & 17 HMR both with 16” barrels I have put both in GRS stocks and love them.
As said any good quality ammo and very accurate.
Trigger’s are as good as any you could wish for and crisp.
The Roughtech was on the .17 but definitely not the GRS! Different level can’t recommend enough.

I had a T1x & stupidly exchanged it for a cz 452 thumbhole. Don’t ask me why but I did.
The RFD still has my original T1x for sale so when my FAC comes back with the slot on it I’ll be buying it back & probably getting rid of the cz.

Nothing really just not as good as the T1x but that’s my opinion, a nice looking rifle

I have a k95 in 243 and use the spare or second shot to remove the spent case which I keep in the forward hand never needed it in anger though knowing you have one shot makes me think more about bullet placement also if you want another calibre just send it in to them and they will fit it also police are much in favour of granting a barrel than a complete rifle don’t think I will ever sell it except for ill health
