Tikka t3 bolt release button

Lost the bolt release button on my tikka T3 varmint ,The pin inside has come out as only a small plastic sleeve that comes with the grs stock holds it in ,either the pin has worn or the sleeve has slackened off .Anyone else had this ? Can you glue the new pin in metal to metal? £38 for a new one which ive ordered

From memory the bolt release button is also the bolt stop and may need filing to the correct length for the cartridge

They come in 2 lengths (bolt stop), for short or long cartridges.

They come in long or short action models. While the Brownells site is more expensive than where it sounds you've ordered one for, it shows the difference between long and short action.

If it breaks, your goosed

Better putting a rubber sleeve or delrin pad in place to prevent it dropping out

Yes
