Looking for some advice, fallen out of love with the tikka metal magazines and have been looking at swapping out the bottom metal to run AICS mags.

Does anyone know if there is a straight swap possible for the UPR Stock without the need for machining out the stock to make them fit?

have come across the Tier One version but not a great deal of information I can find on fitting them

Atlasworxs do a CTR/UPR AICS conversion bottom metal. It’s a drop in item in terms of the main inlet, but may require some fettling in the mag well area for proper fitment. It may also need the mag latch adjusting for correct fitment/feeding.

The Walters Rifleman bottom metals are a decent alternative plus if you were to consider using the standard magazines there a company in Canada who make stainless bottom metals that are from
In fitment and very well machined - the way forward using standard three or five shot mags

What calibre Tikka metal mags? I'm guessing 308 or 6.5 Creed?

Never had a problem with these mags, had far more problems with AI mags.

Atlasworx aics/CTR mag system works without stock work if the stock had the CTR metal magazine before. Yes the catch mostly needs about 1 mm taken off. They are deliberately too long so one can get a perfect rattle free fit. I prefer aics over CTR magazines. Also better choices.
