I’ve seen plenty of Germans with a full set…I fitted a Bix n Andy trigger to my T3 but these are like huns teeth so im lead to believe.
Romney do an excellent two stage replacement trigger
Though Tikkas own two stage is good
The standard single stage is pretty good if kept clean (beware fitting lighter springs to used examples as sear engagement, cocking and safety could be compromised if too light)
My pals son works for them Ha! Got me thinking now as I have a T3 30-06 NIB never yet fired it. Life gets in the way.I fitted a Bix n Andy trigger to my T3 but these are like huns teeth so im lead to believe.
Hi guys, what custom triggers are out their for a tikka t3? Which ones do people rate and what price?
TIA
I've experienced that with one trigger unit, but tried the lighter spring in another unit and it did the job, so assumed excess friction. To add it wasn't a Yodave, but a Baldie.I have fitted springs from Yodave Products to several Tikkas, but the last one didn't seem to lighten the pull as much as the others did.
Your rfd an get you the tikka 2 stage triggers from gmk....... I have one in each of my tikka rifles and they are great.... they lock the bolt until you press the litte catch which releases the bolt whilst trigger is still locked.
It's what they put in the tac A1 and the new varmints.
Are they not far off £200?
That's TriggerTech money...
Still wonder where that 30-06 bullet came down! The one the rifle came with.
Tikka's single screw attachement not the optimum setup for a super light target trigger IMHO, if it comes loose you are in deep trouble, @gixer1 knows...
There is a reason why most custom rifles use the Remington style of 'trigger hanger' with two pins at each end to hold it in place. A pain to change especially if you have the original Remington boltstop/release but very very secure.
