Tikka T3 Varmint stock forend

Hi guys,
I’ve got a .243 in tikka t3 super varmint, great rifle can’t fault it. I’m just wondering if I can take the wide forend off and use it with out it on? Can you get studs to go into the holes/taps were the screws that hold the stock on came out. If this makes any sense

Yeah I’ve got a tikka ctr and it doesn’t have that forend and feels a lot better for it. Just when I take it off the screws (that hold the wide forend on) still stick out without the forend on. I were hoping that they would sit flush.

Shorten them. Or get shorter ones.

How long are the original ones? The threaded part.
I suppose they will have a standard metric thread. So possibilities are countless.

I have took mine off no problem. Mine was the t3x stock
