Apologies if this is in the wrong part of the forum but I’m trying to work out what a fair price is for a wooden stock from a Tikka T3 hunter is?
I was given it by a friend to use to drop my T1x action into. With some gentle sanding around the mag well it dropped straight in and looks great. I am a sucker for wood and blued metal.
I will attach a couple of pictures to give you an idea of the condition
The stock it’s self is not immaculate by any means and has the normal bumps and scratches you would associate with a used hunting rifle. But it is quite tidy and looks lovely now it’s been cleaned and oiled up. We cannot come up with a price for it as the only prices I’ve seen are around £300 on eBay which both the seller and I think is ridiculous.
What would you say a used stock like this is worth?
Also I have a basically brand new synthetic T3x stock available now if anyone is looking to buy one.
