Those were federal powershock 150grn. Haven't had the chance to work up a load for the fox 130grn classics. Yeah the first 2 shots I was happy with then got a bad heatwave possibly coming off the barrel. And that made it slightly more challenging for the second 2 shots. Looking forward to load development now

I love that feeling when you know it's up to you how well you perform and not the gun being the weak point in the setup.

Well I decided on the BRX1 in 30.06 and glad I did. Christened it a few days ago. Just need to sort some homeloads now, but good to know what factory rounds it likes. View attachment 315379

Most certainly is! Great nose and drive (too much really) but she finds deer. Big dogs almost as good but won't take you back to the one she's found.. She then wants to look for a new one
