Today at work I.....

Interesting thread and for some reason one i've just delved into.

My effort,finished this slap today to a school refurb increasing the opening size from roughly a metre to just shy of 7m.Steel was just over a half ton and everything straight forward although the propping system is a far amount of work for the time it's up.View attachment 448479

lovely, just wish back in the day when I helped dad we had taken pictures of stuff he did...just memory's but good one.
 
Aye,some jobs deserve more than just being a memory up top and only started taking the odd pic post covid.

Get asked by folk looking for work done for a portfolio now and again but it's not someone i've ever done.Lucky to subby to the same 2 firms for near 16 years but might come a time when i regret not keeping one.
Most stuff is granite work which i love although winter is becoming a chore these days but really enjoy the job.

You say winter is becoming a chore these days, but keep at it and don’t forget…there’s loads of people on benefits that are relying on you working and paying your taxes so they can stay home….
