Tom's target(ry)

Everything (at TST) is still out of stock. Here's hoping they they can do a deal with British Steel once under Labour Government control!

I'm after a full size, side on, roe target.

I also had a good experience with them at the show. I would happily have picked up one of their "follow up" roe targets (a couched doe with a reactive plate in the neck), and was only deterred from doing so by the fact I don't currently have a site for one. I liked the stickerised muntjac and fox targets, too.1000027306.jpg

I saw them at the Stalking Show. They also make what looks like a very good galvanised squirrel feeder.

I’m still waiting for the gong I paid for at last year’s game fair. No response to calls or emails. The guy is a crook in my opinion. Will be dropping in to his stand at this years game fair to request a refund in person.

I brought six, and they are very well made I ordered them 2 weeks ago and they were delivered Monday just gone. Just now need to get them put up.

I received my order, two weeks for delivery. Some gongs received were smaller than those ordered. I have sent 3 emails over two weeks with no response. Fortunately I did pay by credit card so may have some recourse.

Can’t get an answer to voice mails or emails, got an order eventually delivered but not all items present, now can’t get a hold of him 🤬

I bought a gong from Tom's Targets back in 2020. Hung it on a chain and fired one shot out of my .270 at it from 100m away. The chain was still there but the gong flew off into the distance in multiple pieces. Messaged him on Facebook to ask what it was rated to and explained what happened and he couldn't care less. I'm in the process of setting a range up and will be using the steel target company.

i ordered a couple of targets 6 months ago, after 2-3 months of lies about it coming, being lost in the post, re sent, never turned up, more lies, being ignored i finally got a refund and in exchange i left a piece of my mind, waste of time that man, company, place.:banghead:
Are you referring to Tom’s targets?

Hello, I registered here to share my experience with Toms Targets.

On 28 December 2025, I ordered and paid for a roebuck target. Including shipping to Norway, the total amount was GBP 374.95. After the payment was completed, I heard nothing further from Tom, despite having had good initial email communication. I received no order confirmation and no replies to my emails.

I finally managed to get in touch again on 5 January 2026, when I was told that the order would be shipped around 19 January 2026. I did not receive the roebuck target until yesterday, 25 February 2026.

Poor communication and slow delivery are things I could live with, but there is a more serious issue that makes me feel misled. According to the specifications on the website, the roebuck target is approximately 950 mm × 990 mm, which is close to the real size of a roe deer. The target I received measures only 700 mm × 750 mm and appears very small and clearly not in accordance with the specifications stated on their website.

I have tried to contact Tom regarding this issue, but he does not respond to emails. I have accepted that I may have been misled, but I feel it is only fair that others are made aware of my experience with this company.

I'm truly sorry to hear of your disappointment/frustration. Particularly so as one of your fellow Countryman has just gone out of his way to assist me in procuring 50 hens teeth, otherwise known as 35 Whelen Norma brass cases.

I hope the supplier of the undersized roe target gets in touch and does the right thing.

Best

K
