TOWER FOR THE BOAR

Hi Ian
How you doing mate?
Yes pleased with the tower, we must try the trail idea but I don't know what will be the hardest putting up with the smell or parting with the beer :-D Do they prefer lager or bitter
Good idea with the feeders we will try that for sure as our auto feeders are giving us problems as well as feeding 3 million badgers.
BUT WHO DRILLS THE FIRST HOLE IN THE GAS CYLINDER????

Oh by the way I've made four of your lean too seats not one the same as the other but all the same basic design, cracking mate.
One word of advice I decided to fully board the sides ,front and back on one designed for a particularly windy spot, but you try fixing it to a tree 45 minutes drive from home after you have screwed a back board on and you haven't taken a ladder

Cheers

Hi Wayne, how are you mate?

You've met me so you'll appreciate this is a serious question, Does the hide have an electricity supply sufficient to power a microwave or is that just pie in the sky at the moment?

i'll get me coat.....

Hi Amir
Only a generator I'm afraid (no mains) we have to slum it
we havent got a microwave as the mini bar has taken that space ;)

I liked your article cracked me up

A minibar is a very acceptable alternative, nothing like a cold, erm, apple juice at the end of summer day ;)

Thanks for the comment mate, I still sometimes crack up about that "reloader first, trophy hunter second" story you told down at Ian's.

The bit I left out of the report was that my first thought on reloading, after shooting the roe, was shamefully enough "did that case land in the highseat? I think it did, i'll get it in a minute..."

~ATB,

Amir

Ahhh Amir
your not a dedicated re loader then I have friends mentioning no names  ANDY who would have been searching for the case before he noticed if he had hit the deer or not    ;)

Luckily he's working hard at the mo and probably wont read this

Hi Rangefinder
Plans  :???: :???: :???: what plans
Sort of built it as we went along, its made out of 22ft hop poles if thats any use??

Pm me if you want to know any more

Wayne

Wayne you could do with some cross braces on your tower to stop the wind blowing it over ,if you look at the other picture you'll see what i mean by cross or diagonal bracing .

Hi
Widows son
I know what you mean but believe me its not going anywhere the leg's are in the ground 3ft with concrete in the bottom foot, the sides are made of 3/4 ply which has done the same job as the bracing making it very rigid.

I hope
