Trail camera recommendations (budget variety)

We’ve had the dead ash trees cleared out so a LOT has changed since last winter & whilst I’ve got a fair idea of how & where things will change as a result, I’d like to be able to get a couple of trail cameras out in October to see where & when the fallow are moving.

Cameras don’t need to send videos by mobile (no signal on most of the farm!), I don’t need to be able to see the teeth to age the animals, I just need to know what’s moving & what time.

Before I close my eyes & stick a pin in a name on a list, anyone got any suggestions please? - preferable from experience of using whatever they’re suggesting first hand or at least from friends etc.

Better still if anyone’s upgraded & has some simple, basic, reliable units they no longer need I’d be happy to hear from them.

TIA

I bought a few off Temu for £14 each. Takes a Micro SD and 8x AA batteries, water proof, built in screen, IR, English menu. They do a job and have lasted nearly 2 years can’t really complain. Well I can, the strap that comes with them are sh.. .

Apeman from Amazon are what I use. Nice and cheap, incase some muppet steals them! Fortunately, this hasn't happened as yet.
I use rechargeable batteries in mine.

Hi, can you please share the make of the camera which UnframedDave sent you.
I've looked on Amazon & there is a bewildering choice.
Incidentally, I couldn't find Apeman (post #4) either.

Thanks v
I can email or WhatsApp links. SD doesn't like them. Feel free to dm me.
