Trail camera

Hi guys I’m looking for a trail camera that I can put a SIM card in that’s actually worth having.
Anyone got any links?
Regards Dan

Spypoint micro are not too bad although they don't like Scottish winter weather too much so I built little boxes to protect them a wee bit more never had problem since.
About £200 a pair and roughly £5 per month for up to 250 pictures

They don’t have SIM cards / 3G though do they?

No m8 sd cards. The camparks have a WiFi feature which allows you to set cams up and look through your videos and upload them to your phones. But no 3g etc. There sd

Try the hikmicro sight camera, very good, 100 free pictures a month. all you need is 32gb Sd card and 12 rechargeable batteries, sends pictures straight to your phone.

Hi Jim never used one of these cams, how does it work with the videos getting sent through price wise? What is the signal like? Always seen vids on them in America but never seen or looked for them here

So as yet the camera app won't send a video, you'd have to take it off the SD card, but it will in the future and the app will do the update. but do you need a video? have a look on you tube on optics warehouse they have done a few demo videos. A friend now has 4 running all the time on all sides of the pheasant and partridge shoot, its like having eyes out all the time and with birds up at £40 PB in flat Essex its easy payment back for fox control.
Signal is never a problem, its instant sending of pictures and the quality is very good

How long will it run on a charge please.I put 12 new Duracell alkaline in mine on the 21/10 ,it showed 100% for 2 days and was down to 50 this morning, now showing 20.Is this normal,it is on open ground but showing only 60% signal?

I just bought one last weekend and it used 50% of 12 energizer batteries over night 😂

I was initially disappointed with battery life on my HIK as it was set up to transmit every time a photo was taken (but during restricted hours of something like 1800-0600 as I was knocking off foxes out the window when they appeared at the bait station!). I know that set up is heavy on batteries but the HIK ate batteries for fun (even when the camera wasn't being triggered) - way more than either of the spypoints I've got.

As fox numbers have dropped off, I've now changed the set up to only communicate every 3 hours and it's loads better. There were 6 fresh Duracells in last monday (10 days ago) and still showing 100% battery. It's only taken a dozen photos over that time though.

Alkaline battery's get hammered in the battery's, the lituim battery's are alot better, but more expensive u may find a better deal on lituim battery's on ebay. You will see alot of difference with lithium battery's but as said there more expensive

That's where my problem lies, I'll alter mine, thankyou.
