Guys
We’ve just picked this up for coming fallow extraction season it’s getting balloon tyres a boxed in electric winch on the A frame and slide runners and cover
All is original and surprisingly in very good nick
But it’s carrying a lot of colour/ stain

Anyone used a specific chemical cleaner to bring it back or recommend a hard wearing spray / hand pant for the internal floor and sides
It will have food grade floor drain mesh but will be jet washed out as used
It’s getting a full all round re fit wheels brakes etc and road legal so is worth doing it right as it come in at a very good price and I’m hoping for a long term keeper trailer out of it

And no more high seat moving problems anymore

Any recommendations would be great
Cheers

Are you referring to the rust staining or just the general oxidation? I would start after the rust with a wire wheel on an angle grinder and if necessary finish with naval jelly or muriatic acid. Once thoroughly clean, use a truck bed liner type coating. This is the hardest wearing coat that is currently available. I'm also a fan of epoxy paints for their durability and ease of use.

Thanks Scott
Haven’t really stripped anything back yet, but I’m told the metal is all good, im guessing galvanised has a penetration level, if the cleaning removal or cleaning runs into the steel, you’ve given something to think about with tegarfs to a good surface sealant

I've used cold galvanizing in a spray can to re-seal welds on galvanized steel. If base prepped well, it will last a long time but I've found that it scratches off easily in high use areas.
